Primary Studio:

The studio has 2 large built-in skylights alongside a large window built into the cyclorama wall.

To black out the space, the barn doors + skylights are easily closed. The large cyc window can be blocked with our wall on wheels OR blackout curtains.

Content Studio:

The Content studio is filled with natural light due to the large north-facing window and front doors.

The window is currently dressed with a sheer white curtain which acts as a natural soft box.

Yes, there is 1 car park available on site alongside plenty of street parking.

Please be mindful of clear-away zones when coordinating with your team.

We offer a variety of props + furniture, This includes a library of unique chairs + lounges alongside a carefully curated collection of decor.

We also have lighting / camera equipment and paper backdrops available for hire at an additional cost.

We recommend booking the LAB as early as possible, especially during busier periods [August - December].

We'll always try our best to facilitate booking requests or last-minute enquiries however, it is best to secure your shoot date with a $150 deposit directly through our booking system.

Our minimum booking is a half-day (4 hours).

Weekend bookings can't be made via our booking system at this point in time.

You'll have access to all amenities + items included in the studio at no additional cost.

This includes furniture, props, clothes racks, steamers, C-stands, shot bags, plinths, Polyboards, etc.

The 270-degree eggshell cyclorama offers 3 x floor to ceiling walls measuring in at 10.5m [w] x 10.5m [d] x 2.7m [h]

Note: There is a large built-in window on the back right-hand side of the cyclorama.

Yes, our studio is equipped with an easily accessible kitchenette alongside a full commercial kitchen

If you intend to use the commercial kitchen during your booking, please notify us first.

There are no hidden fees.

The only time you will be charged more than what is advertised is:

• If you choose to hire equipment or paper backdrops.
• Overtime - this includes early arrivals + late bump outs of any crew members. and is charged at $250 per hour.
• If the cyc wall is damaged or stained and needs to be repainted [$250] we’ll be transparent about all costs upfront on the day.

Production:

Our 520m2 warehouse offers an abundance of space for large productions and events.

Typically, all crew members will work from the primary studio and use the content space for social content + as a lunch break room.

Our larger productions will often use the content space as a H&MU / green room.

We recommend booking a site visit to gain a better understanding of the layout.

Events:

Due to permits, our maximum capacity is currently 50 total; however, this is due to change. Please contact our team for more information.

Yes, the LAB was originally home to an old car mechanic and so the front double doors + wide hall allow you to drive straight through to the cyc.
